Hello - I'm a clinical psychologist practicing in Connecticut. Could you recommend resources, especially organizations similar to SAGE, for LGBT elders in CT? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Sorry but computer problems prevented me from answering sooner. If you have not had your answer yet, I would suggest your calling the NYC SAGE office (212 741--2247)and ask about the SAGE-NET groups near you. Though it is a drive, are you anywhere near the Kingston, NY LGBTQ Center or the Albany LGBT Center? What large cities are you near? Unfortunately, rural areas have the usual transportation problems that cities tend not to have. Transportation is always easier when people are located on a major, north-south highway. Cross CT transportation is a real problem for young and old LGBT persons. Besides calling SAGE, you can always try the internet. Good luck. Harold
